Many people have the idea that the U.S. practice of interfering with the internal affairs of other nations and regime change is for the betterment of those nations but is it that true? Could the U.S. government have other motives which are not quite so beneficent?
I recently read an article or really an interview at the thedailybell.com that is very illuminating with respect to the U.S. government’s real motivation for starting “skirmishes” (better known as wars) all over the globe.
I believe Washington gets away with murder because the American people enjoy being the biggest bully on the block. If you’d ask the average American if they are Pro War I’m sure they’d say that they aren’t but they still have this “don’t mess with America or else” attitude. It makes them feel like we can do whatever we want, whenever we want and if nobody likes it that’s just tough. Many don’t even consider the morality of it or whether or not it’s in our best interests and therefore have put their stamp of approval upon a foreign policy of interventionism that if the shoe were on the other foot they would surely protest.
