The Sci-Fi Genre Reveals Much Truth About The State
As I’m sitting here with my laptop in my lap, watching a Sci-Fi movie with Adrian Paul from 2009, it reminds me how, more often than not, Sci-Fi shows and movies reveal the truth about the advancement of the power and control of the State, especially movies of a futuristic nature.
In this particular movie the writers unabashedly depict an out of control government that is openly spying on everyone 24/7 and of course the name of the ACT contains the word Freedom just like the laws of our own reality. In the movie, anyone who would dare defy the perpetual invasion of their privacy meets with some unfortunate, inexplicable accident.
The Sci-fi genre, more than any other, is willing to be politically incorrect and suffer the slings and arrows of the critics and naysayers in order to get out the message that the state doesn’t want you to hear.
We’re not that far from such a reality ourselves and there are consequences for coloring outside the lines, even when you don’t know you are. Just ask Kim Dot Com, Edward Snowden or Ladar Levison, the founder of Lavabit, all of whom did absolutely nothing wrong or unlawful but non-the-less were assaulted by the Federal Government on bogus charges for not complying to the wishes of the state. That’s the message today, stand up for your rights and risk losing everything.
The government needs acts of and the threat of terrorism in order to continue their onslaught against liberty and freedom, whether or not they are real or imagined is irrelevant so long as it instills fear in the constituents. The State has always used fear as the motivation to take more and more control and just like Danny Trejo as G-Man in the movie says: “those who would give up freedom for safety don’t deserve it..” which is a paraphrase of a Benjamin Franklin quote.
The movie does a good job in depicting the idea that the President or whoever sits in the seat of power is really just a tool, something I’ve purported for many years. They ultimately carry out the whims of the Power Elite whose only goal is complete control. (In the movie the President doesn’t even exist.) And why do they want this control, you may ask? Well, as King Solomon once said: “there’s nothing new under the sun”. The motivation is what it always is – money. Again, as the Bible says: “the lust of money is the root of all evil.”
The State: Always The Consummate Propagandist
The Eyeborgs are a metaphor for the State (in my opinion) and they’d like us to believe they are acting in the public interest, protecting us from our alleged enemies but in fact it is a relentless pursuit by the State, acting on behalf of powerful benefactors, whose interest are anything but noble and you can be sure that eventually, compliance with the wishes of the State backed Elitists is not a matter of choice and you can bet your life, they will use force against those who don’t comply.
A perfect example is the Affordable Healthcare Act, better known as Obama Care. Everyone is “required” to have insurance and if you don’t comply you will be fined via the tax code. Sure you can choose to defy this mandate and refuse to purchase insurance and refuse to pay the fine and then you could be arrested, then you could resist and end up DEAD! Hey, you think this is extreme but that’s where we are folks and we seem to be powerless to stop the continuing erosion of our liberty and freedom.
The State Fears The People Getting Information
Okay, here I go again quoting the Bible: “the people perish for the lack of knowledge”
One of the biggest deterrents to the plans of the globalists is information and the free flow of information available on the internet is something that will, at some point, become intolerable. So far they have not been able to control it but they are trying to be sure and I have no doubt that to some degree they will control much of what people are able to access on the internet. In fact, I have heard recently on a report on RT that Verizon is working vociferously to get legislation passed that would, in effect, keep many people’s websites from getting any exposure at all.
Even now, we know, through the Edward Snowden revelations, that the U.S Government is not only spying on it’s own citizens, monitoring every single email and phone conversation but they are even spying on their allies as well.
This spying is now causing many countries to think twice about doing business with the U.S. and who can blame them. They are concerned that products, especially those of the electronic variety, may be equipped with spying capabilities. We all know that Microsoft, Mac and Android OS’s have back doors built into them that will allow the government access to our electronic devices. So it’s really not Sci-Fi, it’s reality and when the government tries to convince everyone that it’s “for their own good” then get ready for an unprecedented loss of freedom. There has already been an unprecidented loss of freedom, unfortunately most are still turning a blind eye to this reality. Terrorists are not the real threat to our freedom, the “State” is the real threat, disguised as our protector.
Are The Sci-fi Movies Prophetic?
It surely seems so. It seems the power of the State continues to grow and for good reason. It’s “the people” that keep it alive and growing. You see as long as there are people who receive largess from the state and make a living off the tax payers, then there is a great incentive for people to not take any action against the proverbial “hand that feeds them”.
Unfortunately, the price we will all pay for setting up this “government nanny state” is going to be too high but then it will be too late. Hopefully enough people will wake up before it’s too late if it’s not already.
