Exactly what is it that makes people think the government can fix anything? Anything they do only makes things worse doesn’t it? For example:
The War on Terror – Are there more terrorists now than there were when they started their war? And now the American people are TRILLIONS of dollars poorer, not to mention the millions that are dead, mostly civilians, because of U.S. foreign interventionist policy which has created even more enemies and turned America into a Perpetual War State to make the owners of the military industrial complex filthy rich.
The War on Drugs – It’s not the government’s job to tell people what they can and can’t do with their own bodies anyway and way more people have died in their war than if they’d just left people to their own devices. Prohibition didn’t work with alcohol, what made anyone think it would work for drugs. Then of course there are thousands of people in prisons for victimless crimes which, if you don’t know what’s wrong with that then you should be ashame of yourself. It’s pure tyranny.
The War on Poverty – This was the creation of the Welfare-State which is nothing more than a ponzi scheme that has made ALL Americans poorer and has robbed our children of their futures and created an unfathomable $60 Trillion in debt when you include unfunded liabilities. No possible way to fix this. It will eventually just collaps.
Of course I could go on but these should suffice in pointing out the complete and utter failure of “government” to deal with these issues. In fact, one could argue that none of these problems would exist if not for the government class who think it’s their job to control other people’s lives. This is what Statism (also called organized crime) always leads to. We would all be much better off if we did not vote for other people, who are really just criminals, to rule over us.
It seems that what the government is really good at is “War” and as is true with all wars the costs is Lives, Money and Liberty.
