Many Americans hold on to the hope that things will turn around here but it seems to me the “Handwriting is on the wall”. America’s days are numbered and so if one believes that to be the case, what do you do? Do you ride it out or do you go down with the ship?
For myself and most Americans, relocating to another country is a difficult, if not impossible, proposition. If you don’t have a fairly substantial savings and or a way to generate income from anywhere, such as an internet based business, it seems pretty unlikely that you’ll be able to “get out of Dodge” when everything goes to heck.
I really don’t believe most Americans believe things will ever get that bad here but the evidence and history is replete with examples of nations and empires where the citizens were under the same delusion and ended up putting themselves and their families in terrible conditions.
Anyway, for those who would like to know what their options are you might want to check out this article. I think the author makes some pretty good points.
